About:
Ninth-graders at Valley Stream Memorial High School raised more than $470 for their class while celebrating Spirit Day on Dec. 16.
Donning Class of 2020 t-shirts, students convened in the building’s cafeteria. They sold blue and white beads and played “minute to win it” games that featured prizes such as free pizza and admission to Memorial’s sports night.
